Task Management · Task and workflow management software

Turn any repeatable process into a clear workflow.

Work orders, inspections, client deliverables and maintenance requests all become tasks that move through the steps you define.

How Task Management works

  1. Define the states work moves through

  2. Build a reusable task pack

  3. Create every task and due date in one step

  4. Move work along the board

What changes

From how it usually goes, to how it could go.

Without it

Every job starts from a blank checklist or someone’s memory.

With it

A task pack creates every task and due date in one step.

Without it

Nobody is sure what stage the work has reached.

With it

Tasks move through the states you defined, on a board or in a list.

Without it

Deadlines slip by without anyone noticing.

With it

People assigned to a task get a reminder email before it’s due.

Without it

Nobody knows how long the work really took.

With it

A timer or typed entry on each task adds up to time spent against the estimate.

What it does

What you get with Task Management

Anyone who runs repeatable work: operations teams, project managers, agencies and service businesses.

  • Your own workflows

Define the states a task moves through and the moves allowed between them.

  • Boards and lists

Drag cards between states on a board, or filter and update tasks in a list.

  • Sub-tasks

Break a task into smaller pieces, one level deep, and see “3 of 5 done” on the parent.

  • Time spent

Start a timer, type your time or tap a common amount, and see totals by task, project and person. Managers see the whole team, with a CSV file.

  • Effort and estimates

Give tasks effort points and estimates, compare them with time spent, and see totals on boards and projects.

  • Projects

Group tasks into projects and sub-projects, with progress worked out from finished tasks.

  • Blocked until ready

A task can’t finish while a task it depends on is unfinished, unless someone who manages workflows overrides it.

  • Files, comments and history

Attach files, comment with mentions, follow a task by email, label it, and see who changed what.

  • Reusable task packs

Build a pack once, such as new hire onboarding, and create every task and due date in one step.

  • Due date reminders

People assigned to a task get reminder emails before it is due, with the time in your organization’s time zone.

  • CSV import and export

Bring in existing tasks and projects, and take your data out.
